Really nice piece of transferware by Vernon Kilns. This plate is all about Los Angeles, pictures City Hall, Church of Our Lady Queen of the Angels, Union Station, Planetarium Hollywood, Gruamans Chinese Theatre, Hollywood Bowl and the oldest house on the oldest street. Around the edge of the plate are poppies (Calif state flower) and grapes.
Vernon Kilns started in Vernon CA in 1931 and sold to Metlox in 1958.
The plate is coupe shaped, meaning the sides come up higher than on today's flat plates, kind of half bowl, half plate. It is 10 3/8" in diameter. No nicks, chips or crazing. Beautiful piece.

When will I receive my refund for a damaged product.
I will happily refund for anything damaged during shipping. However, I must receive pictures of the damage, the box and the wrapping. I will refund you as soon as I receive this in order to file a claim with USPS or Shipsurance.
How much is a custom mermaid?
It depends on the size and the work involved. Custom mermaids start at $50.
I saw an item like this on EBay for less. Can you match the price?
No.
Can you hold an item until I get paid?
No. I have done this before, taken the item out of inventory and then the person never bought. This causes me to have to pay to re-list the item and miss out on other potential sales. Please do not ask me to do this.
