This is not a reproduction. It is an original Shanghai cigarette advertisement lithograph made in the 1930s. It was purchased at an auction of a collector. Reproductions are easily found. This is not. It advertises American Victory cigarettes and features a beautiful Asian women smoking, which was a new thing in China. The 20s found Shanghai becoming westernized and having a women's movement where women started smoking and wearing glamorous clothes as they did in Hollywood. This poster is 30 x 20" and is made on thick paper with metal poster clips on the top and bottom. Unfortunately, this one has a tear on the top right about 4" long, a small tear towards the bottom right and a couple of slight creases. Framing it could hide the tear. The price is adjusted for that. The back is barely yellowed. It is worth every penny and even more. My prices are well below retail.
