Here is a calendar plate that is a little smaller than they usually are. It is 9" in diameter with a slightly scalloped edge. It is red transferware and says "God Bless Our House Throughout 1977" and features a river scene with people boating and a home in the background. It was made by Alfred Meakin in Staffordshire England . It also says that the engraving was done under the glaze. It has a glaze crack in the back but no chips, nicks or crazing and the glaze is not cracked on the front. This means that the integrity of the dish is completely intact, just the clear glaze has cracked. Makes a great gift for someone born in 1977.
