This brush was made by Arthur and John Zimmerman around 1890. The coarse bristles are probably wild boar or badger hair. Unfortunately, hair doesn't last forever and this brush is missing some bristles and is no longer even with bristles. The price has been lowered due to this flaw. It has a solid silver circle to put an initial or initials on it. It has 4 stamped marks on it: 1. A&JZ for the maker. 2. an anchor for Birmingham 3. a Y for York where it was assayed and 4. a lion meaning it is sterling. It has leaves, irises and echinacia flowers and a hammered background. It is 10 x 3.5". The silver on the back side of the brush has concaved a little bit in the upper part. There are some dings in the edges around the brush and a spot where the silver has been cut, I believe maybe someone did to check the silver. Free shipping in the US.

No. I have done this before, taken the item out of inventory and then the person never bought. This causes me to have to pay to re-list the item and miss out on other potential sales. Please do not ask me to do this.
