This is a really old tin from the later half of the 18th century for black boot polish made by Lass Mason Co. in Philly. Apparently, this is called Challenge Blacking because shoe shine boys would be challenged with other boot polish that Masons was the best. The boot in the picture is huge. This tin came to me wrapped up in plastic wrap to hold it together as there is still polish inside that is dried up. I will leave it up to the buyer to take the plastic off if they desire and empty the tin. It is 3.5" in diameter and .5" tall. Free shipping in the US.

No. I have done this before, taken the item out of inventory and then the person never bought. This causes me to have to pay to re-list the item and miss out on other potential sales. Please do not ask me to do this.
