Here is an old Nutmeg Tin by Slades. Slades was founded by David and Levi Slade in 1837 in Boston, using a mill that was built in the 1700s. It's an historic site but is still in business today. This tin is 3.75" tall and 1.75" in diameter. It has a Good Housekeeping seal on it and I neglected to take the top off prior to photographing but the top (under the lid) is metal and has large holes in it like a parmesen shaker. It is in great condition, a little rust along the edge but the bottom itself has none. The metal is in very good condition.
