Michael and Frances Higgins met at the Chicago Institute of Design and were married in 1948, immediately setting up shop in their small apartment. They were pioneers in the art of glass fusion and by 1950 had their items in Bloomingdales and Marshall Fields. In 1950 they worked with Dearborn Glass Co to mass produce some of their items, mainly ashtrays. I have 2 ashtrays here, selling as a set. One is beige and the other a pale teal, both with gilding and both signed. They are 5 1/8" squared and 1" deep. The teal one is chipped on one corner, the beige one in perfect condition. When will I receive my refund for a damaged product.
I will happily refund for anything damaged during shipping. However, I must receive pictures of the damage, the box and the wrapping. I will refund you as soon as I receive this in order to file a claim with USPS or Shipsurance.
How much is a custom mermaid?
It depends on the size and the work involved. Custom mermaids start at $50.
I saw an item like this on EBay for less. Can you match the price?
No.
Can you hold an item until I get paid?
No. I have done this before, taken the item out of inventory and then the person never bought. This causes me to have to pay to re-list the item and miss out on other potential sales. Please do not ask me to do this.
