This is a sweet bowl. It is enamelware and very durable. It is from the 30s or 40s and looks almost new. It is 11" in diameter and 3" tall. All the enamel is there, none has worn off. There is a slight stain in the bottom of the bowl. It has a hole for hanging. Enamel ware was made by fusing colored glass onto cast iron, which is why old ones have pontil marks on the bottom, as they were fused in a kiln like pottery. These older ones may also contain lead so I wouldn't actually use them.
