Very interesting book if you can decipher the old English writing. (for example, surgery was called Chirurgerie) This is basically a medical book written in 1596 by William Clowes. This is a 1945 reprint. It is about the authors observations treating surgical cases and syphilis. Mr. Clowes was on the best known surgeons in London.
It is 232 pages and is 9.25 X 6.24 X .75". The paper jacket is very yellowed, has areas that are torn, bent and worn. The books maroon cover is in excellent vintage condition. There are no dog ears of any pages.
• Thank you so much for checking out my shop! I hope you find yourself a favorite or a purchase!
• Shipping prices are what I have published, however if it happens there is a $5 or more difference, I will refund it. I strive to save as much as possible on shipping and handling, but bulk & weight can make it very expensive and hard to determine prior to shipping. I also insure items 99% of the time, the only time I don’t is when it fits in a standard letter envelope, when it is low value paper goods, or the item is not worth the cost of insurance.
• I appreciate positive feedback. If you have an issue with your order please contact me so I can make it right.
• If you are an international customer, I will be contacting you about the shipping costs most likely. It may be less or more than what I have published.

No. I have done this before, taken the item out of inventory and then the person never bought. This causes me to have to pay to re-list the item and miss out on other potential sales. Please do not ask me to do this.
