Le Verre d'Eau (A Glass of Water)
Eugene Scribe (1791-1861 Paris) was a comedic playwright who wrote 350 plays in his life. This particular play was first done in 1840. This book has often been used to teach french language due to it's ease of converstation and it holds the attention of the student because it is not only funny but also historical even tho some of the names were changed to "protect the innocent".
Charles Eggert PH.D, (1853-1931) has edited and added notes to this copy published in 1900 by DC Heath & Co. It is 6.75 X 4.5" and is in really great vintage condition. The pages are yellowed as expected but are not brittle and the hardback cover is just worn around the edges.
It's a nice little book to practice your French as well as a collectible book.

When will I receive my refund for a damaged product.
I will happily refund for anything damaged during shipping. However, I must receive pictures of the damage, the box and the wrapping. I will refund you as soon as I receive this in order to file a claim with USPS or Shipsurance.

I saw an item like this on EBay for less. Can you match the price?
No.
Can you hold an item until I get paid?
No. I have done this before, taken the item out of inventory and then the person never bought. This causes me to have to pay to re-list the item and miss out on other potential sales. Please do not ask me to do this.
