This was a plate that was given to customers at a Grocery Store in Corvallis Oregon in the early 1900's. It has "Compliments of A. Hodes Your Grocer Corvallis, Oreg" at the top. It has beautiful golds and tans mottled on it with a gilded design and writing. I don't believe the mottled look is original, I think it happened with age. A lovely young lady graces it with a scarf in her hair and around her neck and it has a star in the center of her head. I absolutely love this plate!
It is 6.25" in diameter, has a scalloped edge and is very thin for a porcelain plate which is what Sterling was known for. (Sterling later became Limoges). It has one chip which you can see in one of the pictures with a crack. The crack doesn't go all the way through because it doesn't show on the front, nor can you hardly notice the chip on front.

No. I have done this before, taken the item out of inventory and then the person never bought. This causes me to have to pay to re-list the item and miss out on other potential sales. Please do not ask me to do this.
