A 1922 3rd Edition of a California State textbook, ("The Public Schools The Foundation of Democracy). It goes from signs, fractions, and mixed numbers to decimals and practical applications. The writer, Edward Lee Thorndike, was a psychologist, famous for his work in learning theory. Much of the book relates to farming and daily life so that the pupil relates to what he is learning.
This book is in great shape, it has 252 pages and is 7.5 X 5.5". It has a hard cover which has an ink spot on the front and back. There are no ripped or torn pages, no writing inside.The pages are slightly yellowed, but still soft and pliable.
