This is an Imperial Service plate made by Salem China in Ohio which operated from 1898 to 1967. Many of the Imperial Service you see is gilded around the band but this one isn't. It shows Independence hall Philadelphia in the center and then around the band has the Liberty Bell, the Betsy Ross House and more along with costs of laurel and other decoration. It is drawn in black with lots of green and yellow and brown.
It is 10 5/8" in diameter (a large plate) and has no cracks, chips or crazing. Great to use or hang on a wall. Also would make a great gift for someone homesick for Philly.
