Platter Booths 1912 Corinthian Wild Rose

$42.00

This platter is so great! It was made by Booths China in England and says it is "Silicon China" and has "Corinthian" and "Wild Rose". It appears to be numbered as well, and looks like it is 1031. I saw this platter on another site listing it as 1930's but according to Thepotteries.org, the mark is actually 1912-1920's, so it's over 100 years old. It has bluebells and wild roses with bright green leaves (transferware). There is an raised embossed wild rose design around the rim as well that was glazed white.

It is 14.25 X 12.25". It has a little tiny nick at the top on the side that's 1/8" long and there is a very fine crack that I have photographed. You can also see it on the front but only in bright light. It does not go all the way through and with love and care it should last another 100 years. The glaze is finely crazed throughout which I and others happen to love. Without the crack and crazing, I would value it at $120. Free shipping too!! This is one item I cannot ship internationally as it is too fragile.

Frequently Asked Questions

When will I receive my refund for a damaged product.

I will happily refund for anything damaged during shipping. However, I must receive pictures of the damage, the box and the wrapping. I will refund you as soon as I receive this in order to file a claim with USPS or Shipsurance.

How much is a custom mermaid?

It depends on the size and the work involved. Custom mermaids start at $50.

I saw an item like this on EBay for less. Can you match the price?

No.

Can you hold an item until I get paid?

No. I have done this before, taken the item out of inventory and then the person never bought. This causes me to have to pay to re-list the item and miss out on other potential sales. Please do not ask me to do this.

Do you ship internationally?

Yes, I do!
