Really special little set here that you don't see often. In the 40's, they came in a red metal box, in the 50's like this one a white cardboard box. There is a wreath on the side under "Little Wonder Library of 20 books for boys and girls" so I assume it was an oft given Christmas Gift. I can see why, these books are awesome!
The 20 books are, Our Food, Our Clothing, Our Shelter, Our Transportation, Our Health and Safety, America's Holidays, Protection in Nature, Coal,Boats, Navajo Indians, Wool, The Indians of the Plains, Pioneering Industry, Pioneering in Ways of Travel, Trees, Insects, Norway and Sweden, Switzerland, Electricity and Magnets and Agriculture. I would say they are great for kids 6-12.
They are each written by different authors. They each have 32 pages. Each book is 8 5/16 x 5 3/8". Each book is in very good vintage condition, there is no dog ears, no writing, no rips and tears. The cardboard holder is somewhat worn and the bottom is loose. The paper over the cardboard is dorn some at the bottom which you can see in the pictures.

When will I receive my refund for a damaged product.
I will happily refund for anything damaged during shipping. However, I must receive pictures of the damage, the box and the wrapping. I will refund you as soon as I receive this in order to file a claim with USPS or Shipsurance.
How much is a custom mermaid?
It depends on the size and the work involved. Custom mermaids start at $50.
I saw an item like this on EBay for less. Can you match the price?
No.
Can you hold an item until I get paid?
No. I have done this before, taken the item out of inventory and then the person never bought. This causes me to have to pay to re-list the item and miss out on other potential sales. Please do not ask me to do this.
