Nippon Japan Dish Circa 1910

Shipping to United States: $6.50
Sorry, this item has sold.

Lovely little antique round dish that is 3.25" in diameter and 1" tall. It was made around 1910 and is marked "Hand painted Nippon" which was back in the day before Nippon was a company but was the word used for Japan.

It is bone china and not glazed on the bottom. Has a gilded top inside edge which has worn off some. Has a picture of a house and lake with Mt Fuji in the background along with some Japanese characters.

Frequently Asked Questions

When will I receive my refund for a damaged product.

I will happily refund for anything damaged during shipping. However, I must receive pictures of the damage, the box and the wrapping. I will refund you as soon as I receive this in order to file a claim with USPS or Shipsurance.

How much is a custom mermaid?

It depends on the size and the work involved. Custom mermaids start at $50.

I saw an item like this on EBay for less. Can you match the price?

No.

Can you hold an item until I get paid?

No. I have done this before, taken the item out of inventory and then the person never bought. This causes me to have to pay to re-list the item and miss out on other potential sales. Please do not ask me to do this.

Do you ship internationally?

Yes, I do!

My wife and I are VERY happy to have this tiny, older-than-a-century pickle dish. It's about 3" diameter. Delivery took just about a week, and it arrived safely in a sturdy box. The dish is so cute I want to start a pot of rice, open my pickle jar, fill up the dish, whip out my hashi, and give it a test run. But it's going straight to the front of one of our display cases. No screwing around with antiques by people who are close to being antiques!
