These are 4 very cool magazine advertisements from the 1940s. They are each 10 x 6 5/8".
The first is for Santa Fe Railroad, featuring the El Capitan train- a streamliner between Chicago and California.
The second one is Union Pacific Railroad and talks about rail service between Chicago and the West Coast, theirs were named City of Los Angeles, City of Denver, City of Portland, etc.
The third is a Christmas ad for the New York Central System from a 1949 National Geographic. It features small pics of their trains such as Twilight Limited, The Mercury, The Detroiter, Empire State Express and others.
The last is a 1946 ad that is a Pennsylvania Railroad 100 years 1846-1946 with pics of the beginning to now that covers the Atlantic to the Mississippi.
