Sorry, this item has sold.

Gnani Yoga isn't the type of physical yoga we all know about, it is the Yoga of Wisdom. This is a first edition, published in 1908 by the Yogi Publication Society. It includes 12 different lessons, from the Omnipresent Life to the Unity of Life to The Law of Karma and more.

According to the publisher, The Yoga Publication Society it was written by Yogi Ramacharaka. There is much controversy about this. It is said that the Yogi was born in India around 1799 and spent his life fasting, meditating and traveling to monasteries across the East and when he was 94 he gave his wisdom to his follower, Baba Bharata to spread his teaching. However, the book was actually written by William Atkinson (1862-1932) and some believe that rather than teaming up with Baba to write, it was all fiction. Atkinson wrote 40+ books, many on mystical teachings, some other different pseudonyms.

It has 302 pages and is 7 3/8" x 5". The cover is in great shape, no real wear. It is harback, covered in a denim like linen with gilded writing. The pages have no writing on them, page 58 has a slight tear right at the bottom... They are quite yellow but are not brittle but still soft.

I saw an item like this on EBay for less. Can you match the price?

No.

Can you hold an item until I get paid?

No. I have done this before, taken the item out of inventory and then the person never bought. This causes me to have to pay to re-list the item and miss out on other potential sales. Please do not ask me to do this.

Do you ship internationally?

Yes, I do!
