This is a 1959, soft cover French book based upon an oil painting from 1890 L'aurore et Psyche, the forbidden romance between Cupid and Psyche. The great thing about this book is that it has never been read, the book was made in the old style, when pages were folded and sewn together and this books pages have never been cut on the top which of course, made it impossible to read.
The owner covered the outside of the book in plastic, which is able to be removed. It didn't keep it from turning yellow but I am sure helped. It also didn't keep the corners from getting worn. It's a great book, with deckled pages and french prose.
It has 125 pages and is 7 1/2" x 5 5/8". Wouldn't it be great to be the first to cut it and read it?

I will happily refund for anything damaged during shipping. However, I must receive pictures of the damage, the box and the wrapping. I will refund you as soon as I receive this in order to file a claim with USPS or Shipsurance.

Can you hold an item until I get paid?
No. I have done this before, taken the item out of inventory and then the person never bought. This causes me to have to pay to re-list the item and miss out on other potential sales. Please do not ask me to do this.
