This is a print, not a litho, by Honore V. Daumier (1808-1879), a famous French printmaker, caricaturist, painter, sculptor who often based his art on socio/political issues of the times. This was is titled "Tout ce Qu'on Voudra" translated as "Everything that will want"- the bottom also has a caption " An' docteur...je crois bien que j'suis poitrinaire!" which means "Oh doctor, I believe I'm consumptive".
The frame is a little beat up as you can see in the pics. It is a 20 x 16" and the print is 12 x 9.5" and has double matting. would make a great gift for a doctor or anyone who loves art.
