This is a print of an engraving by map maker Nicholas DeFers of Mount Cassin and the Surrounding village including the St. Benoit Monastery. It was hand colored. DeFers was a french map maker in Paris during the 1600-1700s who published the Atlas Curieux.
The picture was nicely framed by Aaron Bros in the 70s, has a black frame and beige matte. It is 18.75 x 14.75" and is in great condition. I wish I had more information on it, but alas, it was hard to find much info.
