These two sets of cups and saucers are from the 1930s when tropical decor was really starting to trend. Vernon Kilns hired Don Blanding to design several different designs for their pottery. Blanding (1894-1957) was an artist and vagabond also known as the poet laureate of Hawaii. This design is called Lei Lani, which is marked on the back with Don's signature and Aloha!
There is one little chip on the back of one of the saucers and a little discoloration on the back and underside of handles. Other than that they are in great condition. The price is for both sets together.

When will I receive my refund for a damaged product.
I will happily refund for anything damaged during shipping. However, I must receive pictures of the damage, the box and the wrapping. I will refund you as soon as I receive this in order to file a claim with USPS or Shipsurance.
How much is a custom mermaid?
It depends on the size and the work involved. Custom mermaids start at $50.
I saw an item like this on EBay for less. Can you match the price?
No.
Can you hold an item until I get paid?
No. I have done this before, taken the item out of inventory and then the person never bought. This causes me to have to pay to re-list the item and miss out on other potential sales. Please do not ask me to do this.
