This set of the French Revolution was written by Thomas Carlyle, a Scottish writer (1795-1881) and this set is really special. It was published in 1898 by Thomas Y Crowell & Co. NY and is covered in sienna colored leather, gilded writing and with a red gross grain ribbon bookmark. The leather is a little worn, especially on the spines but is otherwise in good condition.The pages are still creamy in color and feel. The spine is sturdy and the pages are all intact. There is no writing inside. Vol. 1 has 361 pages and Vol. II has 435. They are 7 x 4.75".
Makes a wonderful gift for a book lover or history buff.

When will I receive my refund for a damaged product.
I will happily refund for anything damaged during shipping. However, I must receive pictures of the damage, the box and the wrapping. I will refund you as soon as I receive this in order to file a claim with USPS or Shipsurance.

Can you hold an item until I get paid?
No. I have done this before, taken the item out of inventory and then the person never bought. This causes me to have to pay to re-list the item and miss out on other potential sales. Please do not ask me to do this.
