Although these look like some of the other Thai silverware I have, these are not. They are brass and ebony and marked SEF Siam. We know that Siam became Thailand in 1939 but the SEF stands for Siamese Expeditionary Force, a group of soldiers who went and fought during WWI which was in 1917. This is a set of 5 knives and one butter knife- the butter knife is marked Willy Siam though. The sharpest part of these knives are on the curved side which is interesting. They are 6" long. Buddha is sitting on the end. These are really beautiful and special. I do not have the box for them.
