This is a really old 10" Ironstone plate with red transferware. It was made by Mason which was started in 1796. James Mason patented the Ironstone in 1813. Charles Mason, the son, married Sarah Spode in 1815. The Vista line started in 1890, this mark which is stamped England not made in England was used prior to 1921 yet the crown mark is an earlier mark. So I am really a little unsure of the date of this plate due to some conflicting info but I do believe it was made prior to 1900. It does has a 1/4" chip in the white edge which is actually hard to see. The plate is partially crazed which you can really tell in the pic of the back, yet one side has no crazing. Crazing occurs in the glaze often times when taken out of the kiln but can also happen later if the glaze is under a lot of stress.
