This is a museum quality set of 5 photographs taken by Mrs. Richard H. Cowles in the area of Pyramid Lake Indian Reservation in the late 1800s and early 1900's. Mrs. Cowles was well acquainted with residents on the reservation and photography was her hobby and processed her own negatives and prints.
These prints were all printed, processed, mounted and matted to archival standards by Imre de Pozsgay of Reno Color Lab in 1995 from the original glass plate negatives which have been preserved all these years along with the camera used.
They are 20 x 16 and the photos 13.75 x 10.5
